Tool for self expression

I have to say it’s probably me with a pen and pad - or more likely a keyboard and an idea. I do love producing music or DJing (I currently have a resident radio show on MMHRadio in Copenhagen), but the latter is always a bit of a play with the audience so they bring as much as I do to any gig.

It’s almost cliché to mention doing things out of the ordinary, but try thinking of the quotidien as a massive planet pulling you into it’s orbit. The only way to get a new view on the work is to engage with something new - be it a perspective, thought process or worldview. My go-to is reading. I consume as many books as possible, from Russian fiction such as Dostoyevsky’s oeuvre to economic hot takes on the contemporary world. I’m still a real lover of good magazines though too. Current favs are the likes of Antidote, Vestoj and The Happy Reader. Engaged and fresh socio-political takes on things as commonplace yet viscerally part of our lives as the sartorial and literature. A slice of time, locked in print.

Favorite morning beverage

I tend to have a bowl of muesli with raisins and cinnamon in the morning. What goes best with that? Well, now I’ve recently stopped drinking coffee, English Breakfast Tea is a staple although nothing beats a morning cup of matcha.
